What 2FA means and how to enable it safely
2FA adds another sign-in check, but only the account owner should add or replace it through the platform's official settings.
Types of second factor
A second factor can be an in-app prompt, a TOTP code, security key, passkey, SMS, or backup code. Security level and portability differ.
Safe setup
Open security settings in the official app or on the official domain, complete the ownership check, and add your own factor. Never enter a 2FA secret on an unrelated website or ask support to store it for you.
Read the product page
Check whether a TOTP secret, backup codes, or only an enabled-2FA state is included. Access to one factor does not imply access to the phone, mailbox, or other recovery methods.
When the factor fails
Do not guess codes or change data blindly. Stop the inspection, preserve the uninterrupted first-access recording, and contact support with the order number.
